Tonight I had reservations to stay in Attalla at the Holiday Inn. I got there and did my normal routine, pulled the sheets back, then pulled the Mattress anwa from the headboard and found bedbug blood stains and bedbug fecal matter in the two rooms. I am a platinum elite member and travel often. I have never been treated the way I have tonight. They cancelled my reservation and told me to find another hotel, but then called around to the other hotels in the area and told them not to rent me a room because I had “vandalized” the rooms and then left. All I did is pull the mattress back from the wall and take the pillows and the comforter back that is not vandalization. I went to the Hampton Inn down the street and they weren’t going to rent me a room because the holiday inn hotel manager called them about me doing that. Checking for bedbugs, that is. Once I showed the picture of the bed that they wanted me to sleep in, the Hampton Inn was gracious enough to give me a room and understood my frustration. The room that they rented me was a perfectly clean room. Thank goodness!!! I will never stay at the Holiday Inn in Gadsden again. Take advice from me and use the Hampton Inn in Gadsden/Attalla area or another hotel.

Wonderful place for stay
Wonderful place to stay, rooms were clean and modern, and bed was extremely comfortable. Great buffet breakfast with eggs, potatoes, sausages, oatmeal, assorted cereals, bagels, muffins, cinnamon rolls, juices, and great freshly brewed coffee. Staff was extremely nice!

Staff was very friendly and efficient….however I did have to go down twice because the key cards wouldn’t work.
We also had a room with an apparent leak in the ac because there was a literal mushroom growing out of the carpet! I didn’t know such a thing was possible.
Water constantly leaked from the bathtub faucet but the shower pressure was good.
Most likely will not make a return to this hotel as there are quite a few other options in the same area.

The bed was beyond comfortable and the ac was good and cold. Clean room, clean bathroom and plenty of space. LOVED that the hotel is off to itself with plenty of parking. Good breakfast options. Front desk was super friendly checking us in.

Great location in relation to the highway, gas and food, very friendly staff and really clean room. The parking lot was also very well lit.

This is wonderful hotel -great people , service, and free breakfast. I can see why it is a popular choice for travelers visiting in the area. I was glad I stopped here and would recommend this hotel to anyone. The Cracker Barrel is across the street which is where I went for dinner.
